Personal information HSJ collects
HSJ collects personal information supplied by the user including name, address, email address, affiliation, telephone number, fax number, credit card number, and so on, when the user subscribes or renews membership, orders HSJ publications, or user submit manuscript to HSJ journals.
Use of personal information
HSJ will use the information as follows:
- Credit card information is used only to process a payment.
- Contacting information (name, address, email address, affiliation, etc.) is used to
- send publications or announcements for society’s meetings, election, and so on from the society’s office,
- contact society members for some inquiries from the society’s office, secretary, or treasurer, or
- contact authors of manuscript submitted to the journals from editors
HSJ does not disclose the information without the user’s agreement, unless required by law.
