The 49th annual meeting of the Herpetological Society of Japan (HSJ) will be held as below. We expect a large number of HSJ members to participate.


1. Schedule
Oct. 9 (Sat) and 10 (Sun), 2010

2. Venue
Keio University, Hiyoshi 4-1-1, Yokohama-city, Kanagawa pref., Japan ,

3. Time Table
Oct. 9   - Oral and poster presentations
- Social gathering
Oct. 10   - Oral and poster presentations
- General meeting
Program and detailed information will be sent to all registered participants by early September.

4. Protocol for presentations
Oral presentation:
12 min for presentation, 3 min for questions and replies. PC Projectors (Power Point 2007 and Acrobat Reader for Windows) will be available.

Poster presentation:
Poster size, 90cm (width) x 180cm (height) in maximum. Detail instruction for preparation will be sent with the program.

Note that only HSJ members in good stand (i.e., those who have paid the membership fee for this year) can make presentations.

5. Application
Those wishing to participate, please fill out appropriately and return the application form below by airmail or e-mail. Deadline of submission is 20 August 2010.

6. Meeting fee
Participation fee3,000 yen
Social gathering4,000 yen
Commemorative picture600 yen
      Please pay fees on the first day of the meeting.
