The 53^rd annual meeting of the Herpetological Society of Japan (HSJ) will be held as below. In addition, the related Science Cafe will be also held on the night before the annual meeting. We expect a large number of HSJ members to participate.

Science Cafe:	Nov. 7 (Fri) 18:00–20:00
Annual Meeting:	Nov. 8 (Sat) and 9 (Sun), 2014

Science Cafe:	Suma Aqualife Park, Wakamiya-cho 1-3-5, Suma, Kobe, Hyogo, Japan.
Annual Meeting:	Kobe Yamate University, Building No. 3, Nakayamate-dori 6-5-2, Chuo-ku, Kobe, Hyogo, Japan

Nov. 9	Oral and poster presentation, General meeting, Commemorative picture

* The title of the science cafe is "Let's ask to Dr. Matsui. What's a frog?" by Dr. Masafumi Matsui. Registration of the annual meeting will open at this time. No admission fee is required to the participants to enter the aquarium and listen the speech.

Program and detailed information will be sent to all registered participants by email.

Protocol for presentation

A participant gives a poster or oral presentation.

Oral presentation:	12 min for presentation, 3 min for questions and replies. PC Projectors (Power Point and Adobe Reader for Win or Mac) will be available.
Poster presentation:	Poster size, 90cm (width) × 150cm (height) in maximum.

Note that only HSJ members in good standing (i.e., those who have paid the membership fee for this year) can make presentations.

Social gathering	5,000 JPY	(5, 500 JPY, registered after 1 Sep. 2014)
Commemorative picture	400 JPY
