The 50th annual meeting of the Herpetological Society of Japan (HSJ) will be held as below. We expect a large number of HSJ members to participate.


1. Schedule
Oct. 8 (Sat), 9 (sun) and 10 (Mon), 2011


2. Venue
Graduate School of Science, Kyoto University, Kitashirakawa-oiwakecho, Kyoto-city, Kyoto Pref., Japan.

3. Time Table
Oct. 98   - Oral and poster presentations
Oct. 9   - Oral presentations
- General meeting
- Social gathering
Oct. 10   - Oral and poster presentations
Program and detailed information will be sent to all registered participants by email.


4. Protocol for presentations
Oral presentation:
A participant gives a poster or oral presentation.
12 min for presentation, 3 min for questions and replies. PC Projectors (Power Point 2007 and Acrobat Reader for Windows) will be available.
Poster presentation:
Poster size, 90cm (width) x 180cm (height) in maximum. Detail instruction for preparation will be sent with the program.

Note that only HSJ members in good stand (i.e., those who have paid the membership fee for this year) can make presentations.


5. Application
Those wishing to participate, please fill out appropriately and return the application form below by airmail or e-mail. Deadline of submission is 22 July 2011.

6. Meeting fee
Participation fee3,000 yen(3, 500 yen, registered after 23 July 2011)
Social gathering4,000 yen(4, 500 yen, registered after 23 July 2011)
Commemorative picture400 yen
Box lunch (10/9)500 yen
Box lunch (10/10)500 yen
      Please pay fees on the first day of the meeting.
