The 51st annual meeting of the Herpetological Society of Japan (HSJ) will be held as follows. We hope that as many HSJ members to participate.


1. Schedule
Nov. 10 (Sat) and 11 (sun), 2012


2. Venue
Department of Modern Management, Aichi Gakusen University, 1 Shiotori, Oike-cho, Toyota-city, Aichi 471-8532, Japan.

3. Time Table
Nov. 10   - Special lecture
- Oral and poster presentations
- Social gathering
Nov. 11   - Oral and poster presentations
- Group photo
- General meeting

Program and detailed information will be sent to all registered participants by email.


4. Protocol for presentations
Participants may exhibit a poster or give an oral presentation.
Oral presentation:
12 min for presentation, 3 min for questions and answers. PC Projectors (PowerPoint and Acrobat Reader for Windows, PowerPoint, Acrobat Reader and Keynote for Macintosh) will be available.
Poster presentation:
Poster size, 90cm (width) x 180cm (height) in maximum. Detailed instructions for preparation will be sent with the program.

Note that only HSJ members in good standing (i.e., those who have paid the membership fee for this year) may make presentations.


5. Application
Those wishing to participate, please fill out and return the application form below by airmail or e-mail. Deadline for submission is 31 Aug. 2012.

6. Meeting fees
Participation fee3,000 yen(3, 500 yen, registered after 31 Aug. 2012)
Social gathering4,000 yen(4, 500 yen, registered after 31 Aug. 2012)
Commemorative photograph400 yen
Box lunch (11/10)500 yen
Box lunch (11/11)500 yen
      Please pay fees on the first day of the meeting.
